Superhero 5K Run – Calling all Superheroes….
The Harlingen CISD and
CASA of Cameron and Willacy present the
Superhero 5K Race and 1 mile kid run!

Get your superhero costumes ready!
We will be holding our 4th annual 5K event at the Harlingen CISD Performing Arts Center (3217 W. Wilson Road, Harlingen, TX 78552). This is a family-friendly event that will help us continue to provide our services to children in Cameron and Willacy Counties. Everyone is encouraged to bring their superhero outfits (costumes, t-shirts, caps, etc.). Medals will be awarded to all 1 mile kid dash participants and to the top female and male 5K run participants in all age categories. Fruit and water will be provided and the first 200 participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt.
There is an entry fee of $12 (pre-registered) or $15 (race day) for the 1mi Dash which begins at 7:30am.
There is an entry fee of $20 (pre-registered) or $25 (race day) for the 5K Run which begins at 8:00am.
You can race individually or in a team (4 – 8 people). The age categories are as follows:
- 14 and under
- 15 – 19
- 20 – 29
- 30 – 39
- 40 – 49
- 50 – 59
- 60+
