                                                                      Meet Forest VIII

CASA of Cameron and Willacy Counties recently staffed a Facility dog named Forest VIII.

  • Forest is a 3 year old Labrador retriever crossbred with a golden retriever.
  • He has undergone a 2 year extensive training and can perform 40 commands designed to motivate and inspire clients.
  • Forest was selected for this role at CASA for being comfortable in a public setting and interacting with people daily.
  • Forest goals at CASA is to serve the children involved in the child welfare system who have experienced abuse/and or neglect by providing them with comfort, attention and unconditional love. Forest will also be available to our community stakeholders who work with children.
