“’Preview of 2015 Legislative Session’ will be presented by the Texas CASA Public Affairs team. The team will present on the upcoming 84th Texas Legislature, including the key issues and concerns affecting CPS and the child welfare system, and Texas CASA’s full legislative agenda.
During the session, the legislature will be attempting to write a budget and considering DFPS Sunset legislation. Additionally, Texas will see a complete change among major statewide elected officials from the Governor and below, so it is more vital than ever to advocate for CASA and children at the Capitol. Learn how you can get involved as an advocate and help promote positive change in Texas.”
